Something has been bothering me lately, and it gets me really annoyed when I watch the news.
Does anyone else out there get bothered by the news walk? You know, when they are going to interview someone and first they show them walking? What is that?
What is the conversation that gets that going? "Ok. You walk along this wall and I'll tape it. It will make everyone think you're really busy and important."
I know if it was me (which it wouldn't be because I'm not newsworthy, and that's ok with me), it would be the most uncomfortable walk ever. It would probably consist of me tripping over nothing and then awkwardly catching myself, only to walk right into a pole.

On a completely unrelated note, I've been changing things around a little here in bloggyland. I'm not sure I like it though. What do you think?
First, I do like the new look! I never saw the old one, though, so what do I know? LOL.
ReplyDeleteI had to pop over here because I don't have your e-mail. If you share your e-mail, shoot me one at tonggumomma(at)gmail(dot)com. I just wanted to say your comment about exercise -- so me. So, so me. I'll bet you could tell that from my post, though. Right?
I completely agree with your assessment of the "news walk". Who thought the news would sound better if the reporter was breathless while reporting the news?
ReplyDeleteAs for the changes to bloggyland, I like them! I like the way your blog is organized and how you have linked topics to each other to remind us of something you've said before (I know the latter bit isn't new, but it is cool).
